Returns Policy

We want your experience with us to be as pleasant as possible, so we will work to help you in any way we can to resolve an issue. We offer returns on all dry goods within 30 days of purchase; however, all items must be new, unused and in the original packaging, with all components present and in working order.

We will happily accept returns due to change of mind, providing the receipt is attached and the above is adhered to.

Live goods cannot be returned, and we do not offer a refund for these items unless a fish has been shipped and is DOA. Clear photo proof must be provided of the fish, still in the unopened bag before a refund will be discussed.

Please choose your fish carefully to ensure they are compatible with the other fish in your aquarium as we do not accept returns of live fish due to the risk of disease for our tanks.

All returns must be approved by us before being sent back or returned.

The customer will be responsible for the cost of returning an item, unless there was an error on our part.

Shipping Policy

Thank you for purchasing with Tropical Aquarium. All orders will be processed within 2-3 business days from the time of order. Orders will not be shipped or delivered on Fridays or weekends.

Shipping fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Some of the items on our website are for ‘Pick up instore only” due to their fragile nature of them. Please see each listing for details on whether an individual item can be shipped or not. Some stock is available by special order only, for example: Custom-made fish tanks. Please contact us for a quote on prices for shipping or collection.

We currently ship within Australia only.

If you receive your order and items are damaged or broken, please email us at rob@tropicalaquarium.com.au with your invoice or order number, your name, and clear photos of the broken or damaged item/s.
