The Gold Buenos Aires Tetra is one of the bigger tetras found, growing up to 3 inches in length. These are a colour variation of the Buenos Aires Tetra. They are best kept in schools of 7 or more. They have a silvery body with a thin blue line which begins behind the gill and ends at the tail fin, where there is a black diamond shaped spot. They are a peaceful fish in the aquarium, eating a mixture of quality flakes and frozen or live food like bloodworms.
