Albino Cherry Barb (Puntius titteya)

Albino Cherry Barbs are identified through the bright orange colour of their bodies and their red eyes and grow to the average length of 2 inches. These fish are generally peaceful but can become aggressive and territorial during spawning, especially the males. Although they can become aggressive they rarely exhibit fin-nipping behaviour like other species of barbs. They have a wide and varied diet meaning that they will accept nearly any food such as small insects, flake, live or frozen food or occasionally vegetables, they also tend to eat algae from around the tank.
