Arulius Barb (Puntius arulius)

Arulius Barbs are a eye catching fish with the bright orange tips to the fins and black stripes vertically on the body of the fish. These fish tend to grow around 3.5-5 inches and is a schooling fish that should be kept in groups of 8 or more to not only feel more secure but to also show the vibrancy of their colours. The vibrancy of the fish can also be impacted on the food that they consume, Arulius Barbs can only live on flake food but do need frozen and live food along with vegetables for them to be able to show the brightness in their colours.
