Black Neon Tetra (Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi)

The Black Neon Tetra have a black and white body with red eyes. They are a popular community fish, who are best kept in a school. They are a hardy fish as they will adapt well to many aquarium conditions and will get along with most other peaceful aquarium fish. The black Neon will generally reach about 4cm in the home aquarium. The majority of the black neon tetra’s diet should be made up of a high-quality flake or pellet, however you can also feed live or frozen food to supplement their diet, including Blood worm and Brine shrimp.
