Blind Cave Tetra (Astyanax jordani)

The Blind Cave Tetra are a schooling fish by nature. They are a hardy species and their blindness does not hinder their ability to find food. They prefer an aquarium which mimics their natural habitat so add lots of rock or gravel. The Blind cave fish grow up to three and a half inches, with the females growing slightly bigger and plumper than the male. They are cream or light pink in color. They have scales on their body.
