The Boesemani Rainbow prefer swampy shallow areas that are densely vegetated. They are commonly known as Bicolor Rainbow fish and Boeseman's Rainbowfish. Bosemanis can be kept together with other fish in your aquarium including  larger tetras, peaceful barbs, rasboras, danios, catfish and even non-aggressive cichlids such as Kribensis however 2 male rainbows can become agressive toward eachother so its best to keep only 1 male in an aquarium. These fish are best kept in a group of 6 or more and like to feed on small crustaceans, insects and algae.
