Colombian Red/blue Tetra (Hyphessobrycon columbianus)

The Colombian Red Fin Tetra are generally an adaptable and hardy fish in the aquarium. They like to live in a school of 6 or more and when in a school, they will behave better. The Colombian Red Fin Tetra is an active swimmer, who has large eyes and a good set of teeth. They are somewhat larger than the regular tetra, growing to around 6.5cm in size. They are silver/grey in colour and has a turquoise-blue stripe across the dorsal ridge.
