Diamond Neon Tetra (Paracheirodon innesi)

The Diamond Neon Tetra has a metallic diamond patch on its back between the eyes and dorsal fin. It has a bright blue stripe, offset by red, running horizontally down the side of its body. This fish should have places to hide away from other fish, like pieces of driftwood, plants or rocks. The Diamond Head Neon Tetra will eat many types of small food such as brine shrimp or daphnia, freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, micro pellet food, and a high quality flake food. The Diamond Neon Tetra will grow to approx 4cm.
