Neon Serpae Tetra (Hyphessobrycon eques)

The Neon Serpae Tetra is a quite popular fish in the community aquarium as they are beautiful and easy to care for. Best kept in groups of 5-7 fish. They are a flame-colored fish that move in bright red schools of through your aquarium, however can get mildly aggressive when among slow moving species. They are happy to eat almost anything, including fish flakes, frozen food, freeze-dried food and live food.
