this, of course, basically depends on the plants you keep (species, number, size) and the other growth parameters (light, minerals, temperature, conductivity, kind of bottom gravel, etc.), so it is never possible to predict precisely. A dosage recommendation related to aquarium size is included in the instruction leaflet of the sera CO₂-Start system.

Upon dissolution, the reactor contains a rather strongly concentrated CO₂ solution. The CO₂ then by and by difffuses through the special plastic of the reactor, thus ensuring continuous dosage.
